GPRI

Welcome to Ground Penetrating Radar Institute

You have reached the home of the online meeting and learning place of all matters pertaining to the latest advancements and applications of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)

eGPRI™ is rooted in the Ground Penetrating Radar Institute (GPRI), which was initiated in 2001 at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Incubator Center and which contributed significantly in making GPR a premeir NDE technology for benefit of the transportation governments and industries. The annual workshop and conference events held by GPRI since its inception have contributed significantly in bringing together manufacturers, service providers and users of the technology, and essentially creating the new GPR industry.

Internet based communication advances, and a global demand for solutions to problems that only GPR can help provide, are key factors that contributed to the extending GPRI to also include the present online version. eGPRI™ will maintain all features included in GPRI and it will continue to provide a forum for sharing knowledge, transferring technology, demonstrating innovation and celebrating success. eGPRI™ is organized to include the active participations of the following groups:

  • Manufacturers of GPR hardware and software components and total engineered systems globally.
  • Service industry using GPR worldwide.
  • Private and government organizations that can benefit from GPR offered solutions worldwide.
  • Instructors and students of educational institutions and learning organizations globally.
